What is Soil Stabilization?

  • Soil stabilization using polyurethane foam is a minimally invasive process that strengthens and stabilizes weak or unstable soil beneath roads, slabs, and other structures. The expanding foam fills voids, improves soil density and load-bearing capacity, and helps restore stability without extensive excavation or disruption.

How Does it Work?

Polyurethane foam is injected beneath the surface, where it expands to fill voids, compact loose soil, and stabilize the area from below. Once cured, the foam creates a durable, lightweight support system designed to resist moisture, chemicals, and soil-related deterioration, providing long-lasting stabilization with minimal disruption.

When May Soil Stabilization be Needed?
